WELCOME TO THE TRUE SOLDIERS CLAN Here at True Soldiers our number one goal and our main rule is to have FUN!!!!! There are no dictatorships here at True Soldiers; we are a clan built by the people for the people. We are one big family and have the utmost respect for one another. We are also not a one game clan, while we currently have RtCW and COD servers in the future we hope to add other games as the membership requests them. We have members who play Quake 4, UT and SoF amoung others. We also have multiple fantasy sports leagues running at all times. ARE YOU TRUE SOLDIERS MATERIAL? If you want to join our family you have to ask yourself a few things. Do you like to play and have fun?? Are you willing to respect all members and contribute to the clan? Do you wish to be part of and contribute to a larger community? If you answered yes to these questions then you’re on your way. We are a mature family of gamers. We normally prefer that prospective members be 18yrs or older, but we do make exceptions to that rule. We take pride in having mature adult fun. If you are not 18 but are a strong gamer, with a desire to be part of a team, and are willing to contribute to the team, then your chances of acceptance are good. We ask that you be patient. We may want to observe you for up to one month, if you are under 18 yrs of age. You are invited to hang out on the server, frequent the forums and spectate some of our practices. We just want to make sure that you are serious about becoming a True Soldier. Remember, we will not reject a prospective member based solely on skill. WHAT KIND OF CONTRIBUTION IS EXPECTED? We expect all members to contribute to the clan in some fashion. Of course the first thing that pops into your head is donating money. Well we won’t lie. It does cost money to run our game servers, but we are not forcing any one to donate. What we do ask is, if you can’t financially contribute than do so by other means. We are always looking for new ideas, people with HTML experience, creating avatars, mentoring others or any other skills you may have to offer. We want all members to play regularly on our servers, and help generate traffic. We ask that you actively participate in our forums and always watch for special posts in the member section that pertain to votes and vote to make your voice heard. If competition is your thing, then by all means we want you to contribute by joining one of our competition teams. And actively participate in league play. We also ask that you download Team Speak. You can find a link for it in our download section. This is a voice chat program we use to raise hell with each other while gaming. It is also a must for competition play. This way we will get to know you better and it’s always nice to communicate with family. We suggest using headphones with a boom microphone attached. These are relatively cheap and provide the easiest use. WHATS IN IT FOR YOU? If you agree with everything you just read then you might be able to be a part of a great family of gamers. If you are a strong gamer who just needs that little extra edge, then we have members here who can help you with your settings, to optimize your game play. If you are a moderate gamer we have people here who can mentor you and get you on your way to playing better. We have techies that can answer questions and help solve problems. But most importantly we offer a friendly gaming experience where everyone is welcome and everyone’s voice is heard. We do joke and have fun, but we also respect each other and handle everything in an adult manner.
